Grant Ryan, CEO
In 1998, Grant started the Internet Search Company
GlobalBrain.net. This company was acquired by NBCi which at one point
had the 7th most visited web site in the USA. He is on the board of
the New Zealand Government's $100 million Venture Investment Fund
(VIF) and the Foundation for Research Science and Technology which allocates over $400 million per year.
Grant also serves as non-executive chairman of SLI-Systems, the internet search technology and services firm.
He has a degree in Engineering and a PhD in Ecological Economics from the University of Canterbury.

Gary Franklin, COO
Gary has 20 years of technology and professional services experience. He
previously served as Director of Product and Services for Nerve Wireless
in London and Amsterdam. Their wireless collaboration product was
nominated for Internet World's m-commerce award 2001 and the
International Creative Awards 2001. Prior to that he was Managing
Director of the European Telecom and Utilities Business Unit of Scient
Corporation. He also founded Telecraft, Inc., a US-based telecoms and
e-Business consultancy. Gary began his career as a UNIX and realtime
software engineer and architect with IBM in the US and France, and with
NASA at Kennedy Space Center. He received a Bachelor of Science in
Engineering Sciences with High Honours from the University of Florida.

Julian Cone, CTO
Julian has been working with web technologies as a
systems architect, administrator and software engineer since 1994, with Landcare
Research and NBCi. He also founded PlanetNZ.com, the PDA user website
PalmHeads, and the sport website, RugbyHeads. He has a Bachelor of
Science (Hons) in Geography and Information Systems from the University of
Canterbury.

Andy Cable, Vice-President, Intellectual Property
Andy is an Intellectual Property specialist and qualified Patent Attorney. Most recently, he served as Senior Associate at James & Wells Patent Attorneys. Prior to emigrating to New Zealand in 1996, Andy worked as the sole project manager of a Defence research contract for electro-mechanical weapons and was the UK technology expert representative on a multi-national collaborative NATO research and development programme. Andy has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Applied Physics & Electronics and a research Masters degree (MPhil) in Electro-mechanical technology from the UK.
